Charles W. Currie is a  Partner of Asset Management Services LLC.  Prior to joining the firm in 1996, Mr. Currie held senior positions in the institutional sales departments of Thompson McKinnon Securities, Reinoso & Company and Pryor, McClendon, Counts & Co.

Mr. Currie started his institutional sales and marketing career in the municipal bond department of Bankers Trust. In 1970 he left to co-found Matthews and Wright, Inc., where for more than 15 years he was one of the principal forces building this innovative investment banking firm. He helped structure and arrange financing for many of the pioneering offerings the firm spearheaded in general obligation and revenue bond financings.  He was also instrumental in introducing and establishing the housing finance bonding programs for Delaware, Idaho, Maine, Maryland and the Puerto Rico Housing Corporation. Although a boutique by Wall Street standards, Matthews and Wright, Inc. was ranked by Institutional Investor as one of the top fifteen public finance underwriting firms. As a principal, Mr. Currie served as head of sales until 1988 and is currently a board member of the company, now publicly traded under the name Career Engine.net.

Mr. Currie holds a B.A. from Dartmouth College and is registered with the NASD as a general securities principal.
